Do You Live A Positive Life?

The scripture gives a Christian every reason to live a positive life. Psalms 37 is one of those scriptures that give us every reason to believe that God, The Father, and his Son Jesus are going to be by our side.

However, even with all the scriptures, and his constant, never ending love, it is often hard to be positive, and assured when we cannot see results within our spiritual journey.

With that said, here are some promises that the Almighty God has given, just in case you do not have the time to look them up or remember them.

Fear
“I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalms 34: 4

The Poor Man
“This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and delivered him out of all his troubles.”
“The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Verse 6 & 7, same Chapter

Hunger
“The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.” Verse 10

The Righteous

“The righteous cry and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.” Verse 17

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all this bones: not one of them is broken.” Verses 19 & 20

Trust In The Lord
“Trust in the Lord, and so good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine hear.” Psalms 37: 3-4

Commit
“Commit thy way unto the Lord; thrust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Verse 5, same Chapter

Rest
“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Verse 7, same Chapter

Peace
“But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

Salvation
“But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.” Verse 39, same Chapter

New Testament Promises
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 19
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Verse 13, same Chapter
“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” Titus 1:2
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15: 7
“For God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3: 16

*All scripture from the King James Version
These are only some of the many promises that we have in the scriptures, and we still get down and out sometimes. We are human, and the Lord knows we are human.

In Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The above scripture tells us that we must have faith. However, it is often hard to imagine that we have so many promises, and that with all he has to do, he would remember little old us. He remembers, he never forgets, and He will deliver those who trust and put their faith in him.

If we are to live a positive life, we must seek to be in a positive state of mind, regardless of what is going on around us. I am working on myself for this statement. I do have faith, I believe in Jesus with all of my heart, however, I am just like the rest of the world; I often get off track and weak. It is very hard to forget about the things in life that make us worry, fret or sap our Christian energy.

One of the main thoughts I want to leave is this: What ever your problems are, whatever you are suffering from, whatever you cannot be positive about, God is aware. He really is. He loves you unconditionally, just as well as anyone else. He has no favorites, and he does not forget your needs. Give him time, be patient, and he will come when you are least expecting it.

God Bless and I am working on me also.
