Jesus Loves You and Me

Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so, little ones to Him belong. We are weak but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so.

Child song, yes, however it also is a human song to be sung by anyone, anywhere and always, not to be measured by age. When down and out, alone and weary, one of the best thoughts, or songs to sing, is “Jesus Loves Me.” You do not have to guess, desire or pray for that love; you have to accept it, and just pray for your forgiveness, and believe. Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me; the Bible tell me so… praise His name for His love.

There is not a person walking the face of the earth that Jesus Christ, our Lord, does not love. He loves the beggar on the street, the prostitute that just accepted money for her body, or the drug dealer who just gave a joint to a child. He loves the man who just took another man’s life, and the many men and women in prison for all sorts of crimes. He even loves the ones who are without a conscious, and full of hate. He loves them all.

Whom Does He Favor?

The Lord has no favorites. God is REAL love. Yes, He loved David even in his sin, because He knew his heart. He knows our heart and He always loves us. He does however; speak through the word about the righteous man:

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16

 “For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” Psalms 1:6

When we get down, and often feel unloved, we must remember; there is a reason for the season.

Let us look to Ecclesiastes- Chapter 3 1-14

1 “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that, which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

11 He hath made everything beautiful in His time: also, he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

12 I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.

13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before Him.”

He loves you and wants for you the best that life has to give; we often do not receive the best because we are lacking the ability to seek those things, which are best for us.

Be encouraged; know that God has a plan for you. His time on the cross was just for you, and every other human. He did not suffer the abuse without a cause. He suffered for your sins, your life, your health, your wealth, and your salvation.

 He loves you unconditionally.
